The GreenSaver Rebates Road Show is travelling the province helping multi-residential building owners and property managers to: learn what projects qualify for electricity saving upgrade rebates, speak directly to program and energy experts, and complete applications for the program. If you have already completed an upgrade, you may still qualify for a rebate. Just bring your receipts and supporting documentation with you. Call 1+877-697-6337 to register.

Hosted by Hearthmakers: As many of you probably already know, the federal government withdrew its funding from the ecoENERGY Program as of April 1st 2010. However, the province’s Home Energy Savings Program is still in effect! Any homeowner in Ontario can receive up to $5,000 in provincial grants for energy saving retrofits.

THE SUSTAINABLE HARVEST TOUR - A Fall Equinox Fundraiser

Returning in the early afternoon around 2:30 PM

The Sustainable Harvest Tour will travel the countryside by bus to organic farms in Battersea and Inverary and tour the award winning Heirloom Seed Sanctuary in Kingston. We'll enjoy a gourmet meal of local and organic food prepared by Mill Street Café in Sydenham. The Tour will map the journey of food from seed to table, and showcase the diversity of sustainable and organic agricultural practices in the region.

An annual event held every September 22 to educate citizens on the negative impacts of excessive car use. Since its debut in Montreal in 2003, In Town Without My Car has become an annual international event. This year's event has been expanded to run for an entire week.
